The 2015 Kia Sedona lets go of its aging minivan look in favor of a much improved design. You'll recognize it's a Kia by its classic tiger nose front end, which is about the only thing carried over from the outgoing model. You'll also notice a much wider, aggressive stance that adds a powerful element. The new HID projector beam headlights and projector beam front fog lights are shrouded in an incredibly well-designed front fascia. On the side, 19" alloy wheels in a chrome finish add an elegant, flashy touch. On the rear, the new design of the rear LED combination lamps and rear spoiler give off a much more luxurious feel. Inside you'll love the completely redesigned dashboard, center console, and seating surfaces that have a much more comfortable design.Â
New 2015 Kia Sedona Technology and Safety
The 2015 Kia Sedona is built on an all-new chassis, with a 36-percent greater torsional stiffness than its closest competitor. That leads to a much more durable and safe design. Standard active safety features on the new Sedona include Traction Control System, Electronic Stability Control, Brake Assist System and Hill-start Assist Control. Optional safety items include Vehicle Stability Management, Forward Collision Warning System, Rear Cross Traffic Alert and much, much more. The new Sedona offers more interior room compared to the outgoing model, with seven and eight passenger seating configurations. The next generation UVO Infotainment system brings along a ton of new features like Speed Alert, Curfew Alert and Driving Score. New 2015 Kia Sedona Performance
A smaller, yet more powerful V6 engine makes its way into the new Sedona. The new Lambda 3.3-liter V6 engine, shared by the 2015 Kia Sorento, puts down 276 horsepower and 248 lb-ft of torque with 24 mpg highway and 18 city. Transferring the power to the wheels is an electronically controlled six-speed Sportmatic transmission that shifts quickly and smoothly. Keeping the Sedona comfortable on the road are MacPherson struts on the front and independent multi-link struts on the rear. The 2015 Kia Sedona is a minivan that is pushing the limits of power and technology.
