New 2016 Kia Optima Performance
Three engine choices are available on the 2016 Kia Optima. First is a 2.4-liter GDI four-cylinder with 185 horsepower and 178 lb.-ft of torque. Second is a 2.0-liter turbo, putting down 245 horsepower and 26 lb.-ft of torque. Lastly is an all-new 1.6-liter four-cylinder turbo engine, capable of 178 horsepower and 195 lb.-ft of torque. Two transmissions are offered, a 6-speed automatic transmission and a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission on the LX 1.6T trim.
