The 2016 Kia Sedona earned the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration's 5-Star overall vehicle safety rating. This comes from features like Electronic Stability Control, a Traction Control System, Brake Assist, Hill-start Assist Control and much, much more. Tech-wise, the 2016 Kia Sedona is available with a 4.3-inch color touch screen audio display with AM/FM/CD/MP3/SiriusXM and 4 speakers. For convenience, a hands-free "Smart Power Liftgate" is available that opens the rear liftgate when it senses the key fob is nearby for three seconds. The liftgate is also programmable to preferred height settings. New for 2016 is a standard backup camera on all trims.Â

The 2016 Kia Sedona is available with 3.3-liter V6 engine with 276 horsepower and 248 lb-ft of torque, achieving 25 miles per gallon highway and 18 city. Transferring the power to the wheels is an electronically controlled six-speed Sportmatic transmission that shifts quickly and smoothly. Keeping the Sedona comfortable on the road are MacPherson struts on the front and independent multi-link struts on the rear.
