New 2016 Kia Soul Design
The funky and cool 2016 Kia Soul retains its fun exterior from the previous year. On the front, LED front positioning lights and available fog lights surround the signature Kia grille. On the side, distinctive fender flares and available 18" wheels add a premium touch. Rear LED combination lamps, privacy glass and "halo" lights makes up the fresh-looking rear end. Kia spent a lot of time considering the layout of the interior, with its soft-touch materials and driver-oriented design. From the unique front end to the upscale interior, the 2016 Kia Soul was designed with the customer in mind.

New 2016 Kia Soul Technology and Safety
A long list of tech features are available on the 2016 Kia Soul, including 6-speakers with dash-mounted tweeters, rear-camera display, and an 8" UVO eServices infotainment system. Upgrade to the optional Infinity Audio System with a center speaker, subwoofer and external amplifier, and you'll have yourself an even better audio system. Standard safety features is where the Soul excels, with dual front advanced airbags, dual front seat-mounted airbags, and full-length side curtain airbags. To keep you on the road, the Soul arrives with electronic stability control and vehicle stability management.Â

New 2016 Kia Soul Performance
Two engines are available on the 2016 Kia Soul, including the 1.6-liter and 2.0-liter. The 1.6-liter on the Base model comes with 130 horsepower and 118 lb-ft of torque, with 30 mpg highway and 24 city. The bigger engine on the Soul+ and Soul! trims ups the horsepower and torque to 164 and 151, with 31 mpg highway and 23 city. Attached to the engine are your choice of a 6-speed manual or an electronically controlled 6-speed automatic with overdrive. Major attention has been paid to the Soul's suspension and chassis, with revised front and rear setups and a McPherson strut front suspension. Optional on the Soul+ model is an Idle Stop and Go System that will increase gas mileage even further.Â
