The all-new, fourth-generation 2017 Kia Sportage made its debut at the Los Angeles Auto Show, displaying a stiffer structure, a new suspension, and a cutting-edge design. It will also be the first Kia to offer UVO3, featuring 14 telematics services, 8 GB of music storage, access to onscreen apps, WiFi tethering capability, all free of charge.  

 

Changes on the outside include a completely redesigned shape and style in every dimension that includes smooth curves with sharp creases, a wheelbase that has been increased by 1.2 inches, and an overall length increased by 1.6. Kia sticks with their design language on the front with a new take on the classic tiger-nose grille. Other highlights on the 2017 Kia Sportage comprise of new "ice cube" LED fog lamps, HID headlamps, LED tail lights, 19-inch wheels, and a satin exterior trim.  


 

Interior highlights on the 2017 Kia Sportage include an increase in headroom and legroom, a 10-way power adjustable driver's seat, an 8-way power adjustable passenger seat, and an innovative dual-level cargo floor and widened luggage area. Kia engineers also reduced noise, vibration, and harshness (NVH) via a quad-bushing setup in the rear suspension and sound-absorbent materials on the wheel arches.


 

Both engines for the 2017 Kia Sportage have been retuned.
