Kia at the 2015 SEMA Show
Kia had an incredible showing at the 2015 SEMA Show in Las Vegas with a bunch of exciting new concept cars, including the A1A Optima, PacWest Adventure Sorento, and the Photo Safari Sedona. A total of six custom vehicles were on display at the show that, according to Kia, "help tell the story of an all-American road trip inspired by unique traits of different regional landscapes throughout the nation."

Kia A1A Optima
First up is the Kia A1A Optima. Exterior highlights on this concept include a custom turquoise paint scheme, 20-inch HRE S104 wheels, Tiarra Luxury upper and lower grilles, and back doors that swing open on rear-mounted hinges. Inside, the A1A Optima concept shows off deep bucket seats with cream and titanium leather. Powering the new concept is a 245-horsepower turbocharged four-cylinder engine with a high performance exhaust. Completing the design is a Ksport coilover sport suspension that keeps the A1A Optima planted on the ground.

PacWest Adventure Sorento
Next is the hand-built PacWest Adventure Sorento. This go-anywhere vehicle includes an all-new front carriage assembly for a taller stance and wheel travel, bringing the ride height to six inches more clearance than the standard Sorento.  Other highlights include a set of beadlock-style wheels, customer fender flares, Fox Racing 2.0 coilover shocks and Eibach springs, and a MileMarker PE4500ES winch. Interior features include a custom painted dash, a Daystar switch panel and rocker switches to active LED lights, and an 8-inch Alpine Mobile Media entertainment system with a front camera.

Photo Safari Sedona
Finally, the Photo Safari Sedona concept displayed its incredible brilliant red, yellow and orange color scheme at the show. This concept is designed to be a photo-capturing machine and was built with consultation from professional photographers. Up top is a tubular steel roof rack that is utilized for mounting DSLR cameras and a high definition WASPcam action sports camera system, with its boom or jigs. Other highlights include a 2,500-lb airbag suspension system for automatically adjustable ride height, ultra-bright 6-inch KC HiLites LED lights on all four sides, and Nitto Dura Grappler tires with 17-inch Method wheels. Inside you'll find a two-seat set up, with removal of the middle seats to accommodate an editing studio with a 27-inch iMac. Bringing the interior together is a handcrafted walnut desk, storage cabinets and a military-grade battery to keep the studio running.

Other KIA concepts at the show
Kia had a few other concepts at the show, including the Forte Koup Mud Bogger, a Ballast Point Sedona, and the Trail'ster concept. The Forte Koup Mud Bogger was designed to be a mud bogging racer with 28-inch off-road tires, a hand-built roll cage, and Sparco Evo II Red Race Seats. The Ballast Point Sedona, previously shown at last year's SEMA Show, comes with a hand-formed solid mahogany shell with a flip-top roof, two functioning Micro Matic taps, and up to four half-barrel kegs of Ballast Point's brews. Finally, the Trail'ster showed off its Polar Pearl Snowdrift/Terra Bronze Metallic paint scheme, roll-top canvas roof, and armored aluminum skid plates.
